Some background information
I am a 42-year old English professor, recently moved to a small college in North Carolina. I’m kept busy by my family, including a husband, a 7-year old boy, a 2-year old girl, and a cat who thinks I don’t nap enough. We’re involved in the downtown Methodist church, and I am interested in thinking about Christianity in literary, feminist, and social justice ways. I am also an enthusiastic novice knitter; I’m still making scarves, but they’re getting to be interesting scarves, and I can produce a hat pretty quickly. Other shapes still challenge me.
